Blog #2: Slowing the Population Explosion from a Nurse's Perspective

Effective birth control is one of the most crucial aspects of slowing the population explosion on our fragile planet to protect our limited resources. As a nurse with extensive knowledge about birth control, it is my responsibility to ensure that my patients understand all their options when it comes to family planning. This education needs to start early and must become normalized in our society. Being able to be open about sex and family planning is key to successful outcomes. Additionally, voting and promoting legislation that promotes bodily autonomy for women can help ensure that all options can be safely accessed.

  1. I agree, I encounter many families that do not understand what birth control is. This families think is going to be a permanent step into stooping them from having more children, we have reinforce education to these families from an early age.

  2. Families are important to society and there are many differing opinions on whether reducing the number of people on the planet would be beneficial to society and the Earth. From a spiritual perspective, we are designed and instructed by our Heavenly Father to create families. Of course, this is my belief and opinion that families do not need governments involved in deciding on family planning issues related to women's health.
